Volunteers needed for Fun Day and Community Picnic concession:
From funding classroom and school projects to coordinating special events, the PAC is part of daily life at James Bay Community School.
With your help, we can do more.
We are still actively seeking volunteers for both the Community Picnic (Fri June 13) and for Fun Day (during school hours on Thurs. June 19).

The Community Picnic is a highlight on the neighbourhood's early summer calendar. This year the PAC is partnering with the Community Centre to support the picnic's concession stand, offering additional food items for attendees.
The PAC is coordinating volunteer staffing for this component of the event. In particular, we still require:
volunteers to help setup and startup the concession stand, starting at 3:30pm
volunteers who can offer to staff the concession stand for 60 minutes during the event's core hours (4:30-8pm)
a volunteer to help with clean-up at the end of the night (8-8:30pm).
For other volunteer opportunities during the Community Picnic, please visit the Community Centre website or email programs@jamesbaycentre.ca.
The PAC is proud to support James Bay school's Fun Day activities, an opportunity for students to let loose in the final days of the school year -- including offering the ever-popular bouncy castle inflatables! This year's event takes place during school hours on Thursday June 19. In order to offer the event, we need the help of parents and guardians.
We are still in need of:
volunteers to help setup, starting at 9am
two volunteers to help supervise an inflatable activity, from 10:30-11:50am
If you are able to support with the Community Picnic Concession and/or Fun Day activities, please indicate your availability on the form on this page.
Thank you for your support this year!
