Get Involved

The PAC is a part of daily life at James Bay Community School. From helping to fund classroom projects, supporting costs for school-wide performances and coordinating special events, we’re actively promoting our students’ education and building a stronger school community.  We’re powered by parents and caregivers. With your help, we can do more.

How can you get involved?

Volunteering is one of the most effective ways to tell our children that we value their education and are supportive of our school and teachers. There are many ways you can lend your support. On this page you'll find a listing of current volunteer opportunities and a form for you to share your availability

We are actively seeking volunteers for our re-scheduled Math Mania Night on Tues. March 4! Scroll down for details on how you can help!

March 4: Math Mania:

James Bay School is excited to host this popular event which aims to make math fun for students through games, puzzles and hands-on activities.

UVic's Pacific Institute for Mathematical Sciences will be leading the stations, but PAC needs a few parent volunteers in particular to help us clean-up at the end of the evening, such as  folding tables and chairs (from 8-9pm).

If you're able to help, please fill out the form on this page or email shannon@jamesbaypac.com to offer your support.
