New Business

1. Setting this year’s PAC budget:

Presented by the new PAC Treasurer, Chris Adamus.   Gaming Grant versus the Checking Account: Chris introduces himself as the new PAC treasurer and starts by explaining the two budget categories, the Gaming Grant and Checking Account.

  • The gaming grant is from the BC government that the PAC applies for every year. There has been a build up in the account due to the pandemic, and we must use most of the funds in the account otherwise we may lose them. There are restrictions on how the money in the gaming grant can be spent: The money cannot be used on school supplies or anything curriculum related.
  • The checking account is money made from fundraising. The funds can be used for anything - most items the checking account are spent on are curriculum based.

Chris goes into detail explaining line by line what each project will cost, along with the projected amount of money that will be remaining in each account after the school year is over.

Budget is passed

The budget is passed after each line item is explained in detail.  (Budget breakdown can be found as an attachment on this page.)

Gina and Maxine vote to approve the budget.
